Abstract
A rotating device 100 is provided that can position a rotating member 102 to a target angular position with high precision. The rotating device 100 includes: a fine adjustment mechanism 109 having a base member 110; and a coarse adjustment mechanism 101 having a housing 104 and at least a portion of the rotating member 102 housed within the housing 104 and disposed on the base member 110. The rotating member 102 is rotatable relative to the housing 104 about a rotating member axis 103, and the coarse adjustment mechanism 101 as a whole is rotatable relative to the base member 110 about a rotating member axis 103.
