Abstract

The subject of this invention is a frame structure formed by joining a cylindrical or columnar body of thermosetting resin with a metal component in a stable bonding state. This invention provides a frame structure comprising a resin-metal joint having a resin component (a) and a metal component (b), wherein the resin component (a) is substantially composed of fiber-reinforced thermosetting resin, and in the frame structure, the cylindrical or columnar portion of the resin component (a) is fitted into the inner periphery of the metal component (b), or the cylindrical or columnar portion of the metal component (b) is fitted into the inner periphery of the resin component (a). In the fitted portion, the outer cross-section of the fitted inner component has a similar shape to the inner cross-section of the fitted outer component, and the outer dimension D of the inner component and the inner dimension d of the outer component satisfy D > d.
