Abstract

The present invention discloses a child safety seat, comprising: a seat portion; a backrest portion pivotally connected to the seat portion and pivotable relative to the seat portion between a deployed position and a folded position; and a locking mechanism operable to lock or unlock the pivoting between the backrest portion and the seat portion. The lower end of the backrest portion is provided with a mounting block, and the rear end of the seat portion is provided with a mounting groove for accommodating the mounting block. The locking mechanism comprises a movable locking part and a matching locking part cooperating with the locking part. The locking part is arranged on one of the mounting block and the mounting groove, and the matching locking part is arranged on the other of the mounting block and the mounting groove. During the pivoting of the backrest portion toward the deployed position, the mounting block is inserted into the mounting groove, allowing the locking part to engage with the matching locking part.
