Abstract

A tether assembly for connecting a base of a safety seat to a vehicle includes a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, and a tether. The first connecting rod is at least partially disposed above a top of the base, and the second connecting rod is disposed inside the base. The tether is connected to the second connecting rod and a part of the first connecting rod located above the top of the base, and is detachably connected to the vehicle.
