Methods and equipment for storing granules

Abstract

A method for storing granules includes the following steps: an accumulation forming step, in which granules (10) derived from biomass are stacked to form a granule accumulation (100e); and an inhibition mechanism configuration step, in which, during the aforementioned accumulation forming step, an inhibition mechanism (e.g., sheet member (20)) for inhibiting water vapor movement is configured on at least a portion of the stacked accumulations (100a) and (100c); after the aforementioned inhibition mechanism configuration step, granules (10) are further stacked on the previously configured inhibition mechanism for inhibiting water vapor movement to form the aforementioned granule accumulation (100e); and the aforementioned inhibition mechanism for inhibiting water vapor movement is a mechanism for inhibiting water vapor from the inner side to the surface side of the aforementioned granule accumulation (100e).
