Abstract

The storage facility of the present invention includes: a stacker crane; a first door, which, when closed, blocks the passage between a maintenance area and a storage area; a second door, which, when closed, prevents personnel from moving between the external space and the maintenance area; a first opening / closing sensor that detects the opening and closing of the first door; a second opening / closing sensor that detects the opening and closing of the second door; and a control unit. When the control unit detects the first door is open via the first opening / closing sensor and the second door is closed via the second opening / closing sensor, it controls the stacker crane to move between the storage area and the maintenance area. While the first door is open via the first opening / closing sensor, it locks the second door. When the first door is closed via the first opening / closing sensor, it unlocks the second door.
