Abstract

This application provides a picking and placing device, a robot, a warehousing system, and a picking and placing method. The picking and placing device is used to pick and place material boxes. The device includes a main body, a telescopic mechanism, and a hook mechanism. The telescopic mechanism is movably connected to the main body, and the hook mechanism is movably connected to the telescopic mechanism. The hook mechanism includes a mounting base, a first drive unit, and a hook member. The first drive unit is disposed on the mounting base, and the hook member is rotatably connected to the mounting base. The first drive unit is configured to drive the hook member to rotate relative to the mounting base, so that the hook member engages with or disengages from the material box. The main body includes a bearing surface for holding the material box. When the hook member engages with the docking slot of the material box, the height of the hook member is higher than the bearing surface; when the hook member disengages from the docking slot of the material box, the height of the hook member is lower than the bearing surface. This enables the picking and placing of material boxes, simplifies the structure of the picking and placing device, and reduces costs.
