Abstract

The mobile device of the present invention comprises: a guide section extending in a predetermined direction, a mobile body moving along the guide section in the predetermined direction, a drive section driving the mobile body in the predetermined direction, and a control section controlling the drive section's driving of the mobile body. From the start of movement of the mobile body until its stop, when the movement distance is within a predetermined distance range, the control section performs specific control to suppress vibration of the mobile body in the predetermined direction during movement; when the movement distance deviates from the predetermined distance range, the specific control is not performed.
