Paper storage and paper handling equipment

Abstract

To provide a paper storage container and paper handling apparatus that improves the operability of manually removing multiple sheets of paper accumulated on a loading table (400) in several stages. The paper storage container includes: paper support members (170, 180) supporting the paper, a paper loading table (400) for accumulating the paper transferred from the paper support members, a loading table advance / retreat mechanism (410) for moving the paper loading table along a predetermined path, and a loading table control mechanism (600). During the paper accumulation operation, the loading table control mechanism allows the paper loading table to move in the pressure direction toward the paper support members. When removing the paper accumulated on the paper loading table, it prohibits the paper loading table from moving in the pressure direction, but allows the paper loading table to move in the retraction direction opposite to the pressure direction and stop at any position.
