Abstract

A method for preparing activated carbon from recycled anode materials of waste lithium series batteries involves the following steps: After physically decomposing the waste lithium series batteries, the carbon powder is separated from the anode roll (sheet). The carbon powder is then washed, dehydrated, dried, and physically heated to obtain activated carbon. This process, as per the invention, does not require a large amount of energy to produce high-quality carbon powder.
