Abstract

This invention provides novel difunctional compounds having an intramolecular norbornene skeleton and a bulky substituent at the C2 asymmetric position. The problem of this invention is solved using the following difunctional compound. That is, a difunctional compound represented by the following formula (1), wherein in formula (1), Ph represents phenyl and n represents 0 or 1.
