Abstract

This invention relates to a method for manufacturing insect peptide proteins, comprising: a freezing step, in which insect larvae are frozen to inactivate them; a grinding step, in which the frozen insect larvae are mixed with pure water and ground into an insect paste; an enzymatic hydrolysis step, in which the insect paste is mixed with a protease and enzymatically hydrolyzed to obtain insect peptide proteins with a degree of hydrolysis of 70% to 80%; a filtration step, in which impurities and oils in the enzymatically hydrolyzed insect paste are removed; and an inactivation step, in which the enzymatically hydrolyzed insect paste is heated to inactivate the protease in the insect paste. Insect peptide proteins have high nutritional utilization rates. The enzymatically hydrolyzed insect peptide proteins are rich in amino acids and small molecule proteins, which are easily absorbed by animals and plants and can be applied to a variety of products.
