Polyester resin, adhesive compositions containing the same, adhesive sheets, and laminates

Abstract

The purpose of this invention is to provide a polyester resin with excellent storage stability, high reducing viscosity, and the ability to form a high crosslinking density. A polyester resin contains at least 2.0 mol% of tricarboxylic acid components in 100 mol% of all polycarboxylic acid components, has a reducing viscosity of 0.50 dl / g or higher, an acid value (AV) of 150 eq / t or higher, and a ratio I(1785) / I(1715) of the absorbance peak intensity I(1715) at 1715 cm⁻¹ to the absorbance peak intensity I(1785) at 1785 cm⁻¹, as determined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), is 0.030 or less.
