Battery device and method for manufacturing the same

Abstract

According to example embodiments, a battery device includes a plurality of battery cells, a housing provided with an accommodation space in which the plurality of battery cells are accommodated, a bottom plate coupled to a lower portion of the housing and configured to close a lower side of the accommodation space, and a cooling member filled within the accommodation space such that the cooling member is in contact with at least one of the plurality of battery cells. The cooling member includes a phase change material, a thickener, and a flame retardant. The bottom plate is coupled to the housing via an adhesive member.
