Abstract
This invention provides an ultraviolet-curable silicone composition comprising the following components (A) to (D): (A) an organopolysiloxane resin having units represented by formula (1), R13SiO1 / 2 units, R12SiO2 / 2 units, and SiO4 / 2 units as constituent units, and at least 5% of the total number of monovalent organic groups bonded to silicon atoms being aryl groups; (B) an organosilicone compound having two or more hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms in one molecule, and having acryloxyalkyl, methacryloxyalkyl, acryloxyalkoxy, or methacryloxyalkoxy groups bonded to silicon atoms; (C) a photoactive platinum complex catalyst; and (D) a photopolymerization initiator. Accordingly, an ultraviolet-curable silicone composition is provided that can be cured by ultraviolet irradiation under atmospheric conditions without a heating step, and a cured product with good adhesion strength is obtained.
