Coating composition and in-mold coating method

Abstract

[Problem] To provide a coating composition that can form a coating film with excellent scratch resistance, adhesion to polycarbonate resin substrates (high-temperature water-resistant adhesion), heat resistance to yellowing, and mold release properties, and the composition has a low VOC content. [Solution] A coating composition comprising: a compound (A) containing an isocyanate reactive group and a polyisocyanate compound (B), wherein the aforementioned polyisocyanate compound (B) comprises a polyisocyanate compound (B1) containing two or more isocyanate groups and one or more alkoxysilyl groups in one molecule, and the solid content concentration of the coating composition is 90% by mass or more.
