Surface protective film

Abstract

The objective of this invention is to provide a surface protective film that exhibits excellent ultraviolet absorption capabilities, and more preferably, excellent peelability and excellent low-fouling properties. Furthermore, the objective of this invention is to provide an optical or electronic component comprising such a surface protective film. An embodiment of the surface protective film of this invention comprises a substrate and an adhesive layer, the adhesive layer comprising a carbamate-based adhesive formed from a carbamate-based adhesive composition comprising a base polymer (A), a polyfunctional isocyanate compound (B), a peeling agent (C), and an ultraviolet absorber (D). The base polymer (A) comprises a carbamate prepolymer, and the content of the ultraviolet absorber (D) in the carbamate-based adhesive composition is 0.50 parts by weight or more relative to 100 parts by weight of the base polymer (A).
