Abstract

This invention provides means for temporarily inhibiting the expression of PD-1 or CTLA-4 proteins. This invention relates to antisense oligonucleotides that can hybridize with the nucleic acid sequences of mRNA precursors and / or mature mRNAs of PD-1 (Programmed Cell Death 1) or CTLA-4 (Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte Antigen-4) proteins to inhibit or prevent the expression of PD-1 or CTLA-4 proteins.
