Abstract

This invention provides a fabric comprising polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) fibers with marine biodegradability, possessing sufficient strength for practical use as clothing and industrial materials, and exhibiting excellent dyeability and dimensional stability during dyeing, making it suitable for dyeing. This invention relates to a fabric, a dyeing method for the fabric, and a manufacturing method for the fabric, wherein the fabric contains polyhydroxyalkanoate fibers comprising 3-hydroxybutyrate as monomer units, and the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio (Iβ / Iα) of the β-structure to the α-structure of the polyhydroxyalkanoate is 0 or more and 0.6 or less.
