Leather texture sheet, its manufacturing method and leather texture display component

Abstract

A leather-textured sheet, primarily composed of thermoplastic polyurethane and containing transparent particles with a thermal decomposition temperature of 220°C or higher, is suitable for use in display panels of various household appliances or automotive indicator lights with complex shapes. Further, it is preferable that the molding temperature of the thermoplastic polyurethane is between 170°C and 230°C, and that the thermal decomposition temperature of the transparent particles is above the molding temperature of the thermoplastic polyurethane. Also, it is preferable that the surface has an embossed texture with a height of 5μm to 100μm, preferably applied by gravure coating on one or both sides. Furthermore, the manufacturing method of this leather-textured sheet is characterized by coating with thermoplastic polyurethane to form a sheet, followed by surface processing using cooling rollers.
