Artificial leather and its manufacturing method

Abstract

The objective of this invention is to provide artificial leather that combines high levels of softness and abrasion resistance. This invention relates to an artificial leather comprising a fibrous structure containing extremely fine fibers and a polymeric elastomer, wherein the fibrous structure and / or the polymeric elastomer contains fatty acid compounds, wherein the average single fiber diameter of the extremely fine fibers is 0.1 μm to 10.0 μm; the polymeric elastomer system is in contact with two or more of the extremely fine fibers; and the total content of the fatty acid compounds in the artificial leather is 0.1% by mass to 5.0% by mass.
