Single handle water faucet with side control and universal internal waterway platform system

Abstract

This disclosure relates to universal internal waterway platform faucet systems for use in top-mounted, side controlled, single handle faucets. The universal internal waterway platform faucet systems are designed and configured to facilitate fast, easy, and accurate installation within numerous types of side controlled, single handle faucets having a variety of layouts and connection configurations. The universal internal waterway platform faucet systems are primarily concealed within a faucet housing, and in some instances an extent is concealed within a mounting shank coupled to the faucet housing. Fluid, such as water, that flows through the universal internal waterway platform faucet systems is isolated from the faucet housing until the water is dispensed from a water discharge tube coupled to a spout of the faucet.
