Abstract

An improved structure of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) drive mainly comprises a fixed disc, a shaft, a sliding bushing, and a sliding disc. The key feature is that the fixed disc has a forward-threaded portion at its center, and the sliding disc has a reverse-threaded portion at its center. This allows the fixed disc to be secured by a shaft with a corresponding threaded portion at one end, and the sliding disc by a sliding bushing with a corresponding threaded portion at one end. When the fixed disc and sliding disc are engaged and the belt drives the sliding disc to rotate outwards, both the fixed disc and sliding disc rotate forward. The forward-threaded design of the fixed disc, combined with the reverse-threaded design of the sliding disc, ensures that both the fixed disc and sliding disc become increasingly tighter as they rotate forward, preventing them from falling off and enhancing the overall structural stability.
