Gas cylinder for compressed gas and its connector

Abstract

This invention relates to a gas cylinder for compressed gas, comprising a plastic liner, a connector fitted over the neck of the liner, and a reinforcement layer that envelops both the exterior of the liner and the connector. The flange portion of the connector is positioned against the liner, and a valve is installed through the neck of both the connector and the liner. The use of a high-strength reinforcement layer and connector allows the cylinder to withstand gas pressure, enabling the liner to be made from lightweight plastic materials, achieving a reduced overall weight.
