Control device and control method

Abstract

[Problem] To provide a control device capable of distinguishing and detecting combustion degradation caused by waste depletion and combustion degradation caused by low-quality waste. [Solution] The control device, a control device for waste incineration equipment, includes: a height acquisition means for acquiring the height of the waste layer inside the furnace; an LHV acquisition means for acquiring the LHV of the waste fed into the furnace before the waste is fed in; an O2 concentration acquisition means for acquiring the oxygen concentration inside the furnace; a determination means for using the waste layer height, the LHV, and the oxygen concentration to distinguish combustion degradation caused by waste depletion and combustion degradation caused by the feeding of non-combustible waste, and to determine combustion degradation; and a control means for increasing the waste supply when combustion degradation caused by waste depletion is determined, and promoting waste combustion when combustion degradation caused by the feeding of non-combustible waste is determined.
