For example, the present invention provides a torque sensor that can be fixed in a simple structure, thereby easily improving the accuracy of torque detection. For example, a torque sensor (1, 2) includes: a rotating shaft (S); a strain gauge (101, 201) connected to the rotating shaft (S); and a housing (40, 40a) supporting the strain gauge (101, 201), the strain gauge (101, 201) including a portion (120, 220) fixed axially to the housing (40, 40a), the portion (120, 220) of the strain gauge (101, 201) having a first surface (121o, 221o) facing the axially extending surface (34, 44) of the housing (40, 40a).
