Abstract
A monitoring device is designed to be integrated into a smoke extraction duct. The device is a partially transparent panel-shaped module, which includes a window. The inner surface of the window is positioned within a flue gas stream that has a flow direction. A detection module is placed on the window, emitting a detection wave toward the flue gas stream and receiving a reception wave passing through the flue gas. The reception wave, through a transmission speed, detects the gas concentration and the gas state, in order to prevent the accumulation of deposits or corrosion of the window by the flue gas. This provides maintenance personnel with timely information to assess the current status of the flue gas or predict potential issues, thus enhancing the safety and stability of the smoke extraction duct.
