Abstract

A method and system for determining object includes a radar performing radar detection on a detection area in a reference time period; calculating a reference distance between the radar and a reference object in the detection area according to a result of radar detection; the radar sequentially transmits wireless signals to the detection area at a plurality of detecting time to obtain a plurality of radar echo signals; calculating the energy of the plurality of radar echo signals at the corresponding reference distances; when the energy of the M1th radar echo signal at the corresponding reference distance at the M1th time is lower than a first predetermined value, a first object is detected; when the energy of the M2th radar echo signal at the corresponding reference distance at the M2th time is not lower than the first predetermined value, the first object is determined as a moving object passing through the detection area.
