Abstract

An arrangement comprising a. a first waveguide adapted and arranged for the propagation of electromagnetic waves; b. at least one element, wherein, in a cross-sectional cut of the arrangement, the first waveguide and the at least one element are arranged to overlap; wherein the first waveguide comprises a recess that at least partially faces the at least one element, a depth of the recess is less than a height of the first waveguide, the depth of the recess and the height of the first waveguide are measured parallel to a further direction, and the further direction is perpendicular to a first direction.
