Abstract

The present disclosure provides an optical engine structure including a display, a light-combining element, a lens assembly, a mounting frame and a first connection structure. The display is used to emit image light. The light-combining element is used to receive and transmit the image light to change an optical path of the image light. The lens assembly is on one side of the light-emitting surface of the light-combining element and is used to modulate the image light from the light-emitting surface. The mounting frame is provided with a mounting space, and a light outlet and a light inlet are provided in communication with the installation space. The light-combining element is in the mounting space. The first connection structure is fixed and connected to the light outlet of the mounting frame. The first connection structure has a first opening connecting the light outlet, and the first connection structure relates to the lens assembly, so that an optical axis of the lens assembly and an optical axis of the light-combining element coincide. The present disclosure also provides an assembly method for an optical engine structure.
