Abstract
This invention provides an optical component configuration structure that allows adjustment of light emitted obliquely from a display surface. Regarding the optical component configuration structure of this embodiment, the optical component is disposed on a display body displaying images to a user; and the aforementioned optical component configuration structure includes a first polarizing component, an adjustment component, and a second polarizing component. The first polarizing component, the adjustment component, and the second polarizing component are arranged sequentially facing the user. The adjustment component includes a λ / 2 component. When viewed from the user's side, the transmission axis of the second polarizing component is approximately orthogonal to the transmission axis of the first polarizing component; and the transmission axis of the second polarizing component forms an angle of 40° to 50° with the slow axis of the λ / 2 component.
