Display device and its working method

Abstract

One embodiment of the present invention provides a highly portable foldable display device. The display device includes a flexible display panel that can be folded to a smaller size. The display device has a three-fold mechanism that forms an area where a first side of the display device is folded relative to each other and an area where a second side opposite to the first side is folded relative to each other. Therefore, even a display panel with a large aspect ratio can be folded to a smaller size by providing fold lines in the minor axis direction, thereby improving portability.
