Laptop computer and keyboard control method thereof

Abstract

A laptop computer adapted to execute a boot process and a conference program is provided. The laptop computer comprises a keyboard module, a plurality of lighting elements, and a control unit is provided. The keyboard module comprises a plurality of function keys corresponding to the conference program. The light elements are arranged in correspondence with the function keys. The control unit is for controlling the plurality of the lighting elements to generate a first light effect in responsive to a first trigger event, and is for controlling the plurality of the lighting elements to generate a second light effect, which is different from the first light effect, in responsive to a second trigger event. The first trigger event is to start up the boot process and the second trigger event is to execute the conference program. A keyboard control method for the laptop computer is also provided.
