Touch device

Abstract

A touch device that includes a plurality of column electrodes and a plurality of traces. Each column electrode includes a first electrode and a second electrode, wherein the first electrode is adjacent to the second electrode. The first electrode has n first patterns which are interconnected and arranged in a row direction, and the second electrode has n second patterns which are interconnected and arranged in the row direction. The first patterns and the second patterns have the same shape and structure. An upper part of each of the first patterns includes a first sub-pattern. A lower part of each of the second patterns includes a second sub-pattern. The first sub-pattern has a plurality of gaps to accommodate the second sub-pattern such that the area of the upper part of each first pattern overlaps the area of the lower part of the second pattern. The plurality of traces connect each of the first electrodes and each of the second electrodes.
