A fitness equipment information system based on two-dimensional barcodes, comprising: a plurality of fitness equipment; a plurality of two-dimensional barcode labels, each correspondingly affixed to one of the fitness equipment; and a web server having a plurality of fitness equipment information web pages, each storing fitness equipment information for one of the fitness equipment, and each fitness equipment information web page linking to one of the two-dimensional barcode labels, allowing a user to scan the two-dimensional barcode labels with a mobile device to parse the URL information of the fitness equipment information web page corresponding to the two-dimensional barcode label, wherein the fitness equipment information web page contains the fitness equipment information corresponding to the fitness equipment, and the mobile device links to the fitness equipment information web page to obtain the fitness equipment information in web page format, wherein... The fitness equipment information includes product information, usage instructions, maintenance instructions, and fitness training plans. The maintenance instructions include demonstration videos or pictures showing the disassembly, assembly, and maintenance steps of the fitness equipment.
