Abstract

This invention provides a standard cell library, a layout design system, a layout design method, and a program product that can reduce working time. The standard cell library of this embodiment includes a plurality of standard cells for designing and configuring standard cells to form semiconductor integrated circuits. A first standard cell included in the plurality of standard cells has: a plurality of logic circuit sections, each configured with logic circuits; and one or more wiring sections, each configured with wiring electrically connecting the output of one logic circuit to the input of other logic circuits. Second standard cells can be stacked within the wiring sections.
