Abstract

A Nursing management system and method , includes a time-banking , whereby nursing work is subdivided according to type, professional skills required, physical strength, characteristic, ...etc., and assigned a code, so that only part of the nursing work corresponding to the code requires the employment of professional staff, while the rest can use non-professional people. Identify the service needs and service provision capacity of residents (including external residents) and assign corresponding codes, so that users (residents) can have both service provision and / or service need status, and residents can become the main source of nursing manpower. In nursing homes or areas with a large number of residents in the community, it can be developed into a ‘chain of service’ model to further reduce the demand for nursing manpower. The Time Bank's matching mechanism simplifies work scheduling, eliminating the problem of matchmaking / cash-out difficulties. Reducing the need for external manpower in organizations reduces fees, and empathetic mutual service between residents improves quality.
