This diagnostic method includes the following steps: determining the surface pressure range of the gasket using three-dimensional point group data of the flange surface; comparing the surface pressure range before and after degradation, and calculating one or more of the following: surface pressure reduction, surface pressure reduction width, surface pressure reduction rate, or surface pressure reduction speed; selecting from a database containing one or more of the repair content, repair period, or repair cost of flanges that are associated with one or more of the following: surface pressure reduction, surface pressure reduction width, surface pressure reduction rate, or surface pressure reduction speed; and displaying diagnostic results including one or more of the following: repair content, repair period, or repair cost. Therefore, based on the numerical values ​​of each surface pressure range before and after degradation, maintenance and repair information including one or more of the following: repair content, repair period, or repair cost is displayed.
