Display driving device and brightness compensation method

Abstract

A display driving device and a brightness compensation method are provided. The display driving device includes a brightness calculation module and a brightness enhancement module. The brightness calculation module calculates a plurality of brightness difference values between a first block and a plurality of second blocks adjacent to the first block, and calculates an average difference value of the plurality of brightness difference values. The brightness enhancement module is coupled to the brightness calculation module and is configured to obtain a brightness enhancement value based on the average difference value and the original brightness value of the first block. The brightness enhancement module is configured to increase the brightness of the first block based on the brightness enhancement value.
