Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder assessment system

Abstract

An attention deficit hyperactivity disorder assessment system is provided to solve the problems of misdiagnosis and difficulty in operation of conventional ADHD diagnostic method. The assessment system includes an infrared sensing component that captures a thermal image of a patient from top to bottom, and a processing module coupled to the infrared sensing component. The infrared sensing component records a plurality of measurement values of the pixels of the thermal image. The processing module receives a plurality of thermal images and their measurement values detected multiple times. The processing module identifies the patient in each thermal image and selects a plurality of blocks in each thermal image according to the position of the patient, and then averages the plurality of measurement valus in each block into a block temperature. The processing module calculates a total cariation according to the plurality of block temperatures detected continuously for multiple times. The assessment system provides the effect of assisting diagnosis and improving accuracy.
