Hospital bed scheduling system and method

Abstract

Disclosed herein is a hospital bed scheduling system having a storage device and a hospital bed scheduling engine. The bed scheduling system execute the bed scheduling method to perform the following: assigning a first priority to a plurality of scheduled patients to generate a first sorting result based on the first priority; sorting scheduled patients with the same first priority according to a second weight to produce a second sorting result; and allocating scheduled patients to hospital beds based on their basic and preference information according to the second sorting result, to generate bed allocation suggestions.
