Abstract
Claims
1. An antenna structure comprising: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; an antenna structure layer disposed on the first surface and having an edge; a feed line disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the antenna structure layer, wherein the feed line has a feed end; a first ground layer disposed on the first surface and having an inner edge, wherein the inner edge surrounds at least a portion of the antenna structure layer, and a shortest distance is between the inner edge and the edge, the shortest distance being between 1 and 15 times the width of the feed line; a second ground layer disposed on the substrate and located on the second surface or between the first surface and the second surface; and a plurality of conductors extending from the first ground layer to the second ground layer and electrically connected to the first ground layer and the second ground layer, wherein the conductors are spaced apart along the inner edge and are arranged in at least two staggered rows; wherein the antenna structure layer is fed using a microstrip line.
2. The antenna structure as described in claim 1, wherein the distance between one of the conductors and the inner edge is less than 1 mm.
3. The antenna structure as described in claim 1, wherein the spacing between two adjacent conductors of the conductors is less than 2 mm.
4. The antenna structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first ground layer further has an outer edge that is farther away from the antenna structure layer than the inner edge, and the conductors are distributed between the inner edge and the outer edge, the number of which decreases with the direction of extension from the inner edge to the outer edge.
5. The antenna structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first ground layer comprises a plurality of ground strips surrounding the antenna structure layer, each of the ground strips having a width greater than 1 mm.
6. The antenna structure as described in claim 5, wherein one of the grounding strips has a notch.
7. An antenna structure comprising: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; an antenna structure layer disposed on the first surface and having an edge; a feed line disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the antenna structure layer, wherein the feed line has a feed end; a first ground layer disposed on the first surface, wherein a plurality of strip-shaped gaps exist between the first ground layer and the edge, the strip-shaped gaps surrounding the antenna structure layer, the width of each of the strip-shaped gaps being between 1 and 15 times the width of the feed line; a second ground layer disposed on the substrate and located on the second surface or between the first surface and the second surface; and a plurality of conductors extending from the first ground layer to the second ground layer and electrically connected to the first ground layer and the second ground layer, wherein the conductors are spaced apart along the strip-shaped gaps and are arranged in at least two staggered rows; wherein the antenna structure layer is fed using a microstrip line.
8. An electronic device comprising: an antenna structure as described in any one of claims 1 to 7; a chip disposed on the substrate, wherein the feed line is electrically connected between the chip and the antenna structure layer; and a transmitting antenna electrically connected to the chip.
