Electrical connector

Abstract

An electrical connector includes a body and a first terminal module. The body includes a main body portion and an extension plate, with the main body portion provided with a first mounting slot. The first terminal module includes a first terminal assembly. The first terminal assembly comprises a first insulating block and a plurality of first conductive terminals disposed on the first insulating block. The first conductive terminals include a mating portion and a connection portion. The mating portions of the first conductive terminals are exposed on the extension plate. The body further includes a positioning plate that protrudes further along the mating direction beyond the extension plate. The tongue plate is configured to be inserted into a mating slot of a mating connector.
