Socket connectors, plug connectors and electrical connection devices

Abstract

A socket connector, a plug connector, and an electrical connection device are disclosed. The socket connector includes a metal housing, an insulating base, and a socket terminal assembly. The insulating base is disposed within the metal housing, is annular, and includes a socket opening. The socket terminal assembly is disposed within the insulating base and includes two terminal blocks, a protective base disposed between the two terminal blocks, and two socket terminal assemblies respectively mounted on the two terminal blocks. The protective base and the two socket terminal assemblies are spaced apart from each other. Each socket terminal assembly extends toward the socket opening but does not protrude from the protective base. The socket connector has the effect of preventing damage to the two socket terminal assemblies due to impact.
