Connector assembly

Abstract

A connector assembly includes an electrical connector and a mating module. The electrical connector includes a housing, a first conductive terminal and second a conductive terminal. The first conductive terminal includes a first contact portion. The second conductive terminal includes a second contact portion. The mating module is provided with a tongue plate. The tongue plate includes a base portion, a transition portion and a constriction portion. The constriction portion is configured to be inserted between the first contact portion and the second contact portion. The first contact portion and the second contact portion are configured to be extruded by the mating module along the transition portion to elastically deform outward. The first contact portion and the second contact portion are configured to cross the transition portion to be in contact with the mating module for achieving electrical connection.
