Abstract

[Problem] Even when using time sampling / time resampling, it is possible to ensure the interoperability between the image decoding device and the image encoding device regarding the processing timing of the image encoding device. [Solution] The image encoding device includes: a subtraction unit that subtracts images from an image; an encoding unit that encodes the subtracted image signal; and an auxiliary information generation unit that generates auxiliary information for deriving the maximum number of delayed images.
