Description

Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to a live-streaming sales method and system, and more particularly to a cross-social media live-streaming sales method and system. Prior Technology

[0002] With the development of live streaming technology, live streaming has sparked a new wave of popularity worldwide. Data shows that the conversion rate of live e-commerce is more than 10 times higher than that of traditional e-commerce. Therefore, numerous industry players, including well-known social media platforms such as YouTube Live, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, are actively entering the live e-commerce field.

[0003] Although live streaming is no longer unfamiliar to everyone, live streamers are still limited by the service content of social media, the large number of social media platforms, and the lack of live streaming equipment and human resources, which means they can only sell goods in a rather inconvenient way.

[0004] As illustrated in Republic of China Patent No. TWI674801B, or Figure 1, taking a common live streaming method as an example, a user-end computer device 11 (such as a smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer) belonging to a streamer and logged into a server-side computer device 2 (such as Facebook) obtains a live video and transmits it to the server-side computer device 2. In this way, the server-side computer device 2 can distribute the live video to member computer devices 3 (such as smartphones) of several target groups. During the live stream, different viewers can send messages to the server-side computer device 2 through their corresponding member computer devices 3, and the streamer can reply to the users' messages through another user-end computer device 12, achieving the purpose of interaction.

[0005] Since users can only interact with the live streamer through comments, the following problems arise when the live stream video arouses viewers' desire to purchase:

[0006] 1. Users need to specify their desire to purchase the product by leaving a message, for example, via private message on the server-side computer device 2. After the live stream ends, the streamer or their assistant will contact the user who left the message privately to obtain transaction information and complete the transaction. The entire process is not only labor-intensive and time-consuming, but also quite uneconomical.

[0007] 2. Taking the server-side computer device 2 configured as a Facebook instance as an example, to broadcast the live video on Facebook, a streaming key must be obtained from Facebook. Therefore, the broadcaster can only log in to Facebook using the client-side computer device 11 and transmit the live video through Facebook, or configure the streaming key on a computer with OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) installed and then transmit the live video through Facebook. Thus, limited by the streaming key, only users browsing Facebook can view the live video, and the broadcaster can only interact with Facebook users, resulting in a technical problem where the number of viewers cannot be increased.

[0008] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, in order to improve the aforementioned technical problem of the inability to increase the number of viewers, the streamer will simultaneously film themselves using multiple user-end computer devices 11 logged into different social media platforms during the live broadcast, thereby simultaneously acquiring multiple live video feeds and transmitting them to the server-end computer devices 2. This achieves the goal of increasing the number of viewers.

[0009] However, the client computer devices 11 used for live streaming and the client computer devices 12 used for replying to viewer comments would stand in front of the streamer like an octopus or a thousand-armed Guanyin. Taking the live stream as an example, if the live stream is broadcast through three different client computer devices 2, the streamer would need to prepare six client computer devices 11 and 12 to ensure uninterrupted broadcasting. Three client computer devices 11 would be used to acquire the live stream, and the other three client computer devices 12 would be used to view and reply to viewer comments. If the live stream is broadcast through six different server computer devices 2, twelve client computer devices 11 and 12 would be needed. Clearly, for the streamer, not only is the equipment cost higher, but the operation is also prone to chaos, as different viewers leave comments on multiple social media platforms, leading to technical problems such as missing viewer comments or being unable to reply to messages in time. Summary of the Invention

[0010] Therefore, the purpose of this invention is to provide a cross-social media live streaming system that simplifies equipment, reduces equipment costs, saves time for live streamers, significantly increases the number of viewers, and is easy to use.

[0011] Therefore, the present invention provides a cross-social media live-streaming sales method for transmitting streaming media to multiple electronic devices, and the live-streaming devices, which communicate with each other via server devices and can be operated by a live-streaming host, perform the following steps:

[0012] (a) Having access to the server and the social media platforms by verifying login to the server and several social media platforms.

[0013] (b) Acquire image data for generating a product image and a transaction URL associated with the product image, and present the product image and the transaction URL through a control interface, wherein the image data and the transaction URL are configured to constitute the data of the streaming media, the product image being associated with a product for sale and the transaction URL being used to purchase the product.

[0014] (c) Acquire first audio-visual data for generating a first moving image, and present the first moving image through the control interface, wherein the first audio-visual data is configured to constitute the streaming media.

[0015] (d) Transmitting data constituting the streaming media to the server device and transmitting the streaming media to the social media platforms via the server device, for enabling the electronic devices to browse the same streaming media via the social media platforms.

[0016] (e) Receive communication data acquired by the server device and used to generate a viewer message, and present the viewer message through the control interface, wherein each communication data is transmitted to the server device by a corresponding electronic device through a corresponding social media, and the viewer message includes text, symbols, links, or graphics.

[0017] A cross-social media live streaming system is applicable to transmitting streaming media to several electronic devices via several social media platforms, comprising a server device and a live streaming device.

[0018] The server is used to publish the streaming media to these social media platforms.

[0019] The live streaming device communicates with the server device and can be operated by a live streaming host to perform the cross-social media live streaming method described above.

[0020] The advantages of this invention are: for the live streamer, the same streaming media can be transmitted to different social media platforms and simultaneously viewed audience comments on different social media platforms simply through this live streaming device. This not only simplifies the equipment and reduces equipment costs, but also significantly increases the number of viewers during live streams, improving playback efficiency. Implementation

[0022] Referring to Figures 3-5, an embodiment of the cross-social media live-streaming sales system of the present invention is applicable to transmitting a streaming media S to several electronic devices 5 through several social media 4.

[0023] In this embodiment, the social media platforms 4 include, but are not limited to, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. They can return information such as a media address (Video ID) and a streaming key (Tkey) to transmit the streaming media S, based on requests from the streaming client. The streaming key (Tkey) is used to obtain permission from the media address (VID) to receive the streaming media S.

[0024] Each electronic device 5 is a streaming end, belonging to a user watching the streaming media S. The electronic device 5 is used to input or output data and information, and is configured as a smartphone, laptop, desktop computer, or other device capable of inputting or outputting data and information. The electronic device 5 can establish a connection with the corresponding social media 4 and pull the streaming media S, thereby receiving the streaming media S.

[0025] Referring to Figures 4, 5, 6, and 7, the electronic device 5 is also used to transmit communication data D1 to the corresponding social media 4. The communication data D1 is used to generate a viewer comment M1, a transaction code M2, or a combination of the viewer comment M1 and the transaction code M2. The viewer comment M1 includes, but is not limited to, text, symbols, links, or graphics. The transaction code M2 includes a first string M21 corresponding to a product (not shown) to be sold, and a second string M22 corresponding to the quantity purchased. In this embodiment, the first string M21 is configured as sequentially representative English characters. The second string M22 is configured as numbers. The first string M21 can be configured before the second string M22, such as A1. The first string M21 can also be configured after the second string M22, such as 2A. The second string M22 can also be configured to be 0 to 3 characters away from the first string M21, such as 2A, A1, A+3.

[0026] The cross-social media live-streaming sales system includes a server device 6 and a live-streaming device 7.

[0027] This server typically uses a network as a medium and possesses powerful computing capabilities and ample storage space. The term "server" is not limited to a specific number of machines, but rather refers to a device capable of completing a large amount of work in a short time and providing services to a large number of users. Therefore, it can also be a general term for a single device.

[0028] In this embodiment, the server device 6 communicates with the social media platforms 4 via wireless communication technology to acquire the communication data D1, build a shopping website, establish a proxy address FID, generate a proxy key Fkey based on the proxy address FID, and provide AI services. The shopping website includes several transaction web pages 9. Each transaction web page 9 is located by a transaction URL 91 and has a product image 92 and product information 93. The product information 93 includes, but is not limited to, information such as product name and price. The product information 93 and the product image 92 are generated from image data D2 and correspond to the product. Referring to Figures 4, 6, and 8, the AI service uses AI technology to calculate the number of plays of the first audio-visual data D3 and generates a traffic report M3 to present the number of people watching the streaming media S through each social media platform 4. The traffic report M3 can be a pie chart or a line graph. The AI service also uses AI technology to identify the communication data D1 and generate a sales report M4 to present the total number of products sold and the total sales amount of the corresponding products. The server device 6 can also output report data D4 for generating the traffic report M3 and the sales report M4. The proxy key Fkey is used to obtain the proxy address FID to receive the streaming media S.

[0029] It is worth noting that the image data D2 and the transaction URL 91 are configured by the server device 6 to constitute the data of the streaming media S. Furthermore, the shopping website is not limited to being built on the server device 6; in other variations of this embodiment, it can also be built on other servers (not shown) that communicate with the server device 6. Additionally, in this embodiment, the sales report M4 is generated by the server device 6 using AI technology to identify the number of times the first string M21 appears in the transaction code M2 and the number of times the second string M22 appears, used to predict the total quantity and total sales amount of the product.

[0030] Referring to Figures 4, 5, and 6, the live streaming device 7 is used to input or output data and information, and is configured as a smartphone, laptop, desktop computer, or other device capable of inputting or outputting data and information. In this embodiment, the live streaming device 7 is a streaming end, capable of acquiring a first dynamic image P1, outputting first audio-visual data D3 for generating the first dynamic image P1, generating a live stream main message M5 based on feedback data D5, and generating the traffic report M3 and the sales report M4 based on the report data D4. The live stream main message M5 includes, but is not limited to, text, symbols, links, or graphics.

[0031] Since streaming media, push / up streaming, and pull / down streaming are not technical features of this case, and those with ordinary knowledge in the art can infer the extended details based on the above description, they will not be described in detail here.

[0032] The live streaming device 7 includes a communication unit 71, a touch screen 72 for displaying a control interface 8 and for inputting information, a front camera 73 for acquiring the first dynamic image P1, and a processing unit 74 electrically connected to the communication unit 71, the touch screen 72, and the front camera 73. In this embodiment, the communication unit 71 communicates with the server device 6 via wireless communication technology. The processing unit 74 is the core of computation and control, and is the final execution unit for information processing and program execution.

[0033] The first audio-visual data D3 and the feedback data D5 are configured by the server device 6 to constitute the data of the streaming media S.

[0034] The live streaming device 7 is also used to transmit the feedback data D5 to the server device 6 via the communication unit 71. The feedback data D5 is input by the live streamer via the touch screen 72.

[0035] It is worth noting that the feedback data D5 is not limited to being input through the touch screen 72. In other variations of this embodiment, it can also be input through a keyboard or smartphone that communicates with the live streaming device 7.

[0036] The control interface 8 includes a playback area 81, a product preview area 82, and an information area 83. The playback area 81 and the electronic devices 5 are used to play video or audio stored in data form. The product preview area 82 is used to display product images 92 and product information 93. The information area 83 is used to display information such as viewer comments M1, transaction codes M2, traffic reports M3, sales reports M4, and live stream host comments M5.

[0037] Referring to Figures 4, 5, 6, and 9, when the cross-social media live-streaming sales system of the present invention establishes a live stream, it is initiated by the live streamer using the live-streaming device 7, and the processing unit 74 executes an application (Open Broadcaster Software) to implement the following steps:

[0038] Step S01: Log in to the server device 6 through authentication. This enables the live streaming device 7 to communicate with the server device 6, granting the live streaming device 7 access to the server device 6. In doing so, the server device 6 establishes a proxy address FID corresponding to the live streamer and generates a proxy key Fkey based on the proxy address FID.

[0039] Step S02: By verifying and logging into the social media 4, the server device 6 automatically requests each social media 4's streaming key Tkey and media address VID, and establishes a correspondence between the streaming key Tkey, the media address VID, the proxy address FID, and the proxy key Fkey, enabling the live streaming device 7 to communicate with the corresponding social media 4 through the server device 6, and allowing the live streaming device 7 to have access to the corresponding social media 4.

[0040] In this embodiment, verification is performed by inputting the corresponding account and password through the touchscreen 72. It should be noted that verification is not limited to using an account and password. Other variations in this embodiment may include credential verification, biometric verification with one-time password (OTP) verification, voice verification, etc.

[0041] Step S03: Obtain one or more image data D2 for generating the product image 92 and the product information 93, and a transaction URL 91 related to the product image 92 and the product information 93, and present the product image 92 and the product information 93 through the product preview area 82.

[0042] It is worth noting that in this embodiment, the server device 6 obtains the image data D2 managed by the live streamer from the shopping website through the API protocol and then transmits it to the live streaming device 7.

[0043] Step S04: Obtain first audio-visual data D3 for generating a first dynamic image P1, and present the first dynamic image P1 through the playback area 81.

[0044] Step S05: The data constituting the streaming media S is transmitted to the server device 6. Hereby, the live streaming device 7 transmits the first audio / video data D3 to the server device 6. The server device 6 then integrates all the data constituting the streaming media S and transmits it to the social media platforms 4. Finally, it is published to the electronic devices 5 via the social media platforms 4.

[0045] In this embodiment, the data constituting the streaming media S includes, but is not limited to, the first audio-visual data D3, the image data D2, the feedback data D5, the transaction URL 91, or a combination thereof.

[0046] Since the server device 6 has obtained the streaming key Tkey of the corresponding social media 4, when the live streaming device 7 plays the first dynamic video P1 through the playback area 81, the corresponding social media 4 will also simultaneously push the streaming media S. Therefore, when users around the world log in to the corresponding social media 4 through their corresponding electronic devices 5, they can essentially simultaneously browse the same streaming media S on their respective electronic devices 5, as shown in Figure 10.

[0047] Step S06: In response to the product image 92 being triggered in the product preview area 82, the product image 92 and product information 93 are presented through the information area 83. Furthermore, the live streaming device 7 and the server device 6 add a first string M21 indicating the order to the product image 92 according to the order in which the product image 92 is triggered. Then, return to step S05.

[0048] In this way, the server device 6 integrates the first audio-visual data D3 and the image data D2 into the streaming media S. For example, the product preview area 82 displays product images 92 for shampoo and 92 for shower gel. When the shampoo product image 92 is selected and triggered by the live streamer, the shampoo product image 92 and the product information 93 will be displayed in the information area 83, and labeled with the first string M21 configured as A. At the same time, each user can browse the first dynamic video P1 and the shampoo product image 92 labeled as A and the product information 93 when playing the streaming media S on their respective electronic device 5. Taking the social media 4 as Facebook as an example, the electronic device 5 plays the first dynamic video P1 through a player embedded in a webpage, and displays the product image 92 labeled as A through a comment area. When the product image 92 of the shower gel is then selected and triggered by the live streamer, the product image 92 of the shower gel will be marked with the first string M21 configured as B.

[0049] Step S07: Input feedback data D5 used to generate the live stream host message M5, and present the live stream host message M5 through the information area 83. Then, return to step S05.

[0050] In this way, the server device 6 integrates the first audio-visual data D3, the image data D2, and the feedback data D5 into the streaming media S.

[0051] Step S08: Receive the communication data D1 transmitted by the server device 6, and display all the audience messages M1 and all the transaction codes M2 through the information area 83.

[0052] In this way, the live streamer can browse viewer comments M1 and transaction codes M2 from different social media platforms through the information section 83.

[0053] Meanwhile, when a user intends to purchase a corresponding product, in addition to being able to directly click on the transaction URL 91 through the corresponding electronic device 5 to jump to the corresponding transaction webpage 9 to purchase the product, the server device 6 can also automatically update a shopping cart list on the transaction webpage 9 corresponding to the transaction URL 91 based on the transaction code M2, without the corresponding electronic device 5 jumping to the transaction webpage 9. The shopping cart list includes the product name, the quantity corresponding to the second string M22, and the unit price. This is used to allow the corresponding electronic device 5 to continuously play the streaming media S. Only after the streaming media S finishes playing can the user directly check out through the transaction webpage 9 without having to reselect the product and enter the quantity.

[0054] It is worth noting that the aforementioned automatic updating of the shopping cart list by the server device 6 is based on the premise that the server device 6 has access to the shopping website.

[0055] Step S09: Receive the report data D4, and present the traffic report M3, the sales report M4, or a combination of the traffic report M3 and the sales report M4 through the information area 83.

[0056] In this way, the live streamer can quickly know the popularity of the streaming media S, the total number of products sold, and the total sales amount through the traffic report M3 and the sales report M4.

[0057] Referring to Figures 4, 11, 10, and 12, step S05 further includes the following steps:

[0058] Step S51: Determine whether the corresponding social media 4 has been selected. If yes, proceed to step S52; otherwise, proceed to step S53.

[0059] In this embodiment, the touch screen 72 can be used to select the transmission target corresponding to each social media 4.

[0060] Step S52: Based on the selected social media platform 4, mark the feedback data D5 to be sent only to the corresponding social media platform 4. Then, proceed to step S54.

[0061] For example, the social media platforms 4 that the streamer logs into through the live streaming device 7 include YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. When only social media platforms 4 such as YouTube and Facebook are selected, only users who view the live stream S presented on the corresponding electronic devices 5 will see the streamer's comment M5. Users who view the live stream S broadcast on the corresponding electronic devices 5 such as Twitter and Instagram will not see the streamer's comment M5.

[0062] Step S53: Mark the feedback data D5 and send it to all social media 4. Then, proceed to step S54.

[0063] Step S54: Transmit the data constituting the streaming media S to the server device 6.

[0064] In this way, the server device 6 will transmit the first audio-visual data D3 to all social media 4 according to the flag of the feedback data D5, and transmit the first audio-visual data D3 and the feedback data D5 to the selected social media 4.

[0065] It should be noted that, in addition, acquiring the first dynamic image P1 is not limited to using the front camera 73 of the live streaming device 7. In other variations of this embodiment, as shown in FIG13, a smartphone or camera that communicates with the live streaming device 7 can also be used.

[0066] Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to acquiring only the first dynamic image P1. In other variations of this embodiment, as shown in FIG14, a second audio-visual data (not shown) for generating a second dynamic image P2 can be received through the communication unit 71. Of course, the number of the second audio-visual data is not limited to one, but can be two or three. Since the first dynamic image P1 and the second dynamic image P2 are each composed of multiple frames, the server device 6 further integrates the first audio-visual data D3 and the second audio-visual data, and superimposes two layers of continuous image frames into one layer of continuous image frames before transmitting it to the corresponding social media 4.

[0067] Similarly, referring to Figures 4 and 15, the server device 6 can further integrate the first audio-visual data D3 with the image data D2, the communication data D1, and the feedback data D5, and overlay the first dynamic image P1, the product image 92, the product information 93, and the transaction URL 91 into a single continuous image frame before transmitting it to the corresponding social media 4. Alternatively, it can overlay the product image 92, the product information 93, the transaction URL 91, all viewer comments M1, all transaction codes M2, all live streamer comments M5, or a combination thereof, into a single continuous image frame before transmitting it to the corresponding social media 4. In this way, the streaming media S can be played through a single player embedded in a webpage.

[0068] Additionally, referring to Figures 4 and 16, the server device 6 may also include several media servers 61. Each media server 61 communicates with the live streaming device 7 and its respective social media platform 4. This improves the consistency of communication. For example, one media server 61 communicates only with Facebook's social media platform 4, and another media server 61 communicates only with YouTube Live's social media platform 4. Thus, each media server 61 can log in to its respective social media platform 4 using its media account and password, and automatically request the streaming key Tkey from its respective social media platform 4 to transmit the streaming media S. Furthermore, each media server 61 can also receive communication data D1 transmitted by its respective social media platform 4.

[0069] Based on the above explanation, the advantages of the aforementioned embodiments can be summarized as follows:

[0070] 1. The greatest innovation of this invention lies in the fact that, for a single live streamer and a single live stream, only one live streaming device 7 and at most one image acquisition device are needed to simultaneously transmit the streaming media S to multiple social media platforms 4 and simultaneously view viewer comments M1 from multiple social media platforms 4. This not only significantly increases the number of viewers but also effectively simplifies equipment, saves a lot of time, and reduces equipment costs.

[0071] 2. Since all data, including the communication data D1, the image data D2, the first audio-visual data D3, the report data D4, and the feedback data D5, are presented on a single live streaming device 7, the streamer only needs to operate this single device. This allows the streamer to view all viewer comments M1 across different social media platforms 4 without missing any messages, and the streamer's comment M5 can also be seen by all users across different social media platforms 4, significantly improving communication efficiency.

[0072] 3. For a live streaming device 7 that requires a large amount of bandwidth for multiple social media platforms 4, directly transmitting the streaming media S to multiple social media platforms 4 would result in insufficient bandwidth to handle the traffic several times that of the streaming media S, thus affecting the smoothness of transmission and viewing. However, this invention uses the server device 6 as a relay station, enabling the streaming media S to be transmitted to the server device 6 in a one-to-one manner, and then transmitted to the social media platforms 4 in a one-to-many manner through the server device 6, which has a bandwidth far greater than that of the live streaming device 7. This not only significantly improves the smoothness of transmitting and viewing the streaming media S, but also reduces the equipment cost of the live streaming host.

[0073] However, the above are merely embodiments of the present invention and should not be construed as limiting the scope of the present invention. Any simple equivalent changes and modifications made in accordance with the scope of the patent application and the contents of the patent specification of the present invention shall still fall within the scope of the patent of the present invention.
