Abstract
Example embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to contention-based uplink transmission. A method comprises receiving mapping information between two or more SR resources and at least one characteristic information associated with a transmission on a Configured Grant (CG) uplink data channel resource, the CG uplink data channel resource being associated with the two or more Scheduling Request (SR) resources; selecting, from the two or more SR resources, at least one SR resource to be used based on the mapping information and the at least one characteristic information; and transmitting at least one SR on the selected at least one SR resource.
