Abstract

An operating device, an operating device for industrial machinery, includes a first housing and a second housing that define a storage space by mutual combination, an electronic component that generates heat and is disposed in the storage space, a pair of metal plates attached to the fields corresponding to the positions of the electronic component on the inner surfaces of the first housing and the second housing and respectively connected to a specific potential, and a heat-absorbing layer disposed on the surface of the metal plates on the side of the electronic component. The metal plates have a higher thermal conductivity than the first housing and the second housing in order to diffuse the received heat, and the heat-absorbing layer has a higher emissivity than the metal plates.
