Abstract

A slide rail assembly with a cold aisle mechanism includes an outer frame, a middle frame, a left stop, a right stop, a spring member, an inner frame, a cold aisle operating member, a first reset spring member, a cold aisle lock member, a second reset spring member, and an unlocking operating member. To enter the open cold aisle state, an external force moves the cold aisle operating member outward, causing one front end of the cold aisle lock member to abut against a first stop, thus locking the cold aisle operating member. To return to the closed cold aisle state, an external force moves the unlocking operating member outward, causing the unlocking protrusion to lift the front end of the cold aisle lock member upward, and the first reset spring member moves the cold aisle operating member inward to return it to the unlocked state.

Claims

1. A cold aisle mechanism, particularly suitable for installation in a slide rail assembly, comprising: A cold aisle operating member is movably mounted to the slide rail assembly, the cold aisle operating member having a limiting groove and a first stop portion on one side of the limiting groove; a first reset elastic member, one end of which is connected to the slide rail assembly and the other end of which is connected to the cold aisle operating member; a cold aisle lock member is movably mounted to the slide rail assembly and located on the first stop portion of the cold aisle operating member; and an unlocking operating member is movably mounted to the slide rail assembly and located on the cold aisle lock member, the bottom of the unlocking operating member having an unlocking protrusion located next to the top of one of the cold aisle lock members.

The cold aisle mechanism as described in claim 1, wherein the cold aisle mechanism has an open cold aisle state and a closed cold aisle state, wherein to move from the closed cold aisle state to the open cold aisle state, an external force is used to move the cold aisle operating member outward and cause one front end of the cold aisle locking member to abut against the first stop portion to allow the cold aisle operating member to enter the locked state; to move from the open cold aisle state to the closed cold aisle state, the external force is used to push the unlocking operating member outward, causing the unlocking protrusion to drive the front end of the cold aisle locking member upward and, through the first reset elastic member, to move the cold aisle operating member inward to return to the unlocked state.

The cold aisle mechanism as described in claim 2, wherein the slide rail assembly includes an outer frame, a middle frame, and an inner frame, and the inner frame is connected and mounted to a server chassis; a limiting member is provided on the inner side of the rear end of the outer frame; the middle frame is movably mounted to the outer frame; the inner frame is movably mounted to the middle frame; the cold aisle operating member, the cold aisle locking member, and the unlocking operating member are mounted on the inner frame; one end of the first reset elastic member is connected to the inner frame; the cold aisle mechanism further includes: A left stop is movably mounted at the rear end of the middle frame; A right stop is movably mounted on the rear end of the middle frame, wherein a limiting feature is formed between the top of the left stop and the top of the right stop; and an elastic member is movably mounted on the middle frame, with its two ends respectively connected to the bottom of the left stop and the bottom of the right stop.

The cold aisle mechanism as described in claim 2, wherein the cold aisle mechanism includes a second reset elastic member, one end of which is disposed and connected to the slide rail assembly and located on the first stop portion of the cold aisle operating member, and the cold aisle lock member returns to the first stop portion through the second reset elastic member.

The cold aisle mechanism as described in claim 3, wherein the rear end of the cold aisle operating member is a second stop, and when the inner frame is moved outward by an external force in the open cold aisle state, the bottom of the right stop of the middle frame will be blocked by the second stop and the movement of the middle frame will be limited.

6. The cold aisle mechanism as claimed in claim 3, wherein when the inner frame is moved outward by an external force, the outer frame moves outward along with the middle frame until the limiting member moves into the limiting feature between the left stop and the right stop and stops.

The cold aisle mechanism as described in claim 2, wherein the top of the cold aisle lock is arc-shaped and the front end of the cold aisle lock is a protruding part, and the lowest horizontal position of the unlocking protrusion of the unlocking operation member is higher than the highest horizontal position of the top of the cold aisle lock.

A slide rail assembly with a cold aisle mechanism, having a closed cold aisle state and an open cold aisle state and suitable for mounting to a server chassis, the slide rail assembly with cold aisle mechanism comprising: An outer frame has a limiting member on its rear inner side; a middle frame is movably mounted to the outer frame; a left stop is movably mounted to the rear end of the middle frame; a right stop is movably mounted to the rear end of the middle frame, wherein a limiting feature is formed between the top of the left stop and the top of the right stop; an elastic member is movably mounted to the middle frame, and its two ends are respectively connected to the bottom of the left stop and the bottom of the right stop; an inner frame is movably mounted to the middle frame and connected to the server chassis; a cold aisle operating member is movably mounted to the inner frame, the cold aisle operating member has a limiting groove, one side of which is a first stop, wherein the rear end of the cold aisle operating member is a second stop; a first reset elastic member has one end connected to the inner frame and the other end connected to the cold aisle operating member; A cold aisle lock is movably mounted to the inner frame and located above the first stop of the cold aisle operating member; a second reset elastic member is connected at one end to the inner frame and at the other end to the cold aisle lock; and an unlocking operating member is movably mounted to the inner frame and located above the cold aisle lock, the unlocking operating member having an unlocking protrusion at its bottom located next to one of the tops of the cold aisle lock.

The slide rail assembly with a cold aisle mechanism as described in claim 8, wherein, to move from the open cold aisle state to the closed cold aisle state, the unlocking operation member is pushed outward by the external force, so that the unlocking protrusion drives the front end of the cold aisle lock member to tilt upward and the cold aisle operation member is moved inward by the first reset elastic member to return to the unlocked state.
